About Me

I'm Teona, a set designer and illustrator based in Berlin.
I began my path as a Set Designer in Tbilisi, Georgia, where I quickly realized that creating worlds was far more exciting than living in just one.
After studying Production Design at the State Academy of Fine Arts, I dived into film projects as a Set Designer, Costume Designer, Storyboard Artist — basically anywhere I could draw, build, or imagine something into existence.
Germany later became my second home and a creative hub, where I moved in my early twenties.
With the support of a DAAD Scholarship, I continued my Production Design studies at the Konrad Wolf Film University in Potsdam - Babelsberg and stepped even deeper into the craft of filmmaking.
For many years, technical hand-drawing has been my main superpower—precise, detailed, and still my favourite way to think, develop, and communicate ideas. But I’m also fully embracing the digital era. New tools and software keep me curious and motivated, I learn sometimes faster than expected, sometimes with a little confusion, but always with enthusiasm.
Today, I work as a Set Designer, Production Designer or Art Director, giving characters the homes, chaos, and beautiful messes they need to feel alive.
And with every new Project, I'm reminded why this craft keeps me inspired.
